 Tom Elman, A.P., L.M.T., is a graduate of the Florida Institute of TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE, The Humanities Center School of Massage, and Eckerd College, where he graduated with honors. He is a Diplomate of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), a member of American Bodywork and Massage Professionals, and holds licenses as an Acupuncture Physician and Massage Therapist. He holds a position on the Academy of Item Writers for the National Acupuncture Certification Exam. His various training increases the effectiveness of each treatment modality he employs.  Dr. LaPointe, DOM, holds a Masters in Acupuncture from Northwestern Health Sciences University, Minnesota. She graduated on the Dean’s List from the University of Minnesota, where she double majored in Psychology and American Indian Studies. She is a Diplomate of the NCCAOM.
She specializes in: Bio-Acupuncture using homeopathic medicines for pain management, immune system boosting (for prevention of colds and flu), and weight loss (using herbs, appetite control points, and B-12 injections – the “energy” vitamin). As an Acupuncturist specializing in auricular (ear) medicine, she has extensive experience working in the Tampa bay community treating substance use disorders. Dr. LaPointe also offers mesotherapy (a natural “face-lift”), using homeopathics which are safe, effective, and create beautiful results.

 Maria Riquet, LMT, has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for more than 10 years. She graduated with honors from the Humanities Center (now Cortiva), and has extensive training in various modalities, including Sports Massage, Carpel Tunnel Treatments and Trigger Point Therapy. Maria offers a wide variety of techniques to soothe your aches and pains. She was the 1998 Florida State Champion gold medalist in cycling. In 2003 she recovered from a horrific cycling accident that involved 13 fractures. Recovering from these injures has given her insight into helping others heal and making others feel better with the power of massage therapy. She has a passion for her work and will make anybody feel totally relaxed.
